Seto's Research

More -isms and -philias than a medical textbook.

Everything was in place as Seto sat down in front of his newly-purchased laptop to begin his research, down to the legal pad and steaming cup of coffee.  Even though the chances were vanishingly small that anyone would trace his electronic footsteps, Seto had used one of the three false identities he maintained at KaibaCorp to purchase this computer and the ISP address he'd be using.  Though he could, and needed to far too often for his taste, deal with negative publicity as well as the tabloids, it was best to limit the possibilities.

Opening and sizing three different windows so he could coordinate the results of three different search engines at once, Seto typed in his first search string.  His naivety and unfamiliarity with the subject was apparent at once.   It took almost twenty minutes for him to become familiar enough with the terminology to understand that 'homoerotic' for instance, yielded a more useful result than 'homosexual'.

Seto also took careful note of his own reactions, this was as much about knowledge as preparation.  None of the images affected him... until he placed himself and Tristan in the situation.  He drew a blank at multiple-partner scenes, completely unable to process involving a third person.  He read an increasingly bewildering array of fiction, both fan based and semi-professional, finally determining that he was glad he neither watched much in the way of movies and television or had a taste for desperate purple prose.

The long white paper quickly filled up with notes in Seto's sprawling cursive. A list of lubricant brand names.  The difference between the terms "top/bottom" and "dominant/submissive".  More -isms and -philias than a medical textbook.  How a kink differed from a fetish and why.  Sexual props and toys, both where to get them and when to use them.  He definitely learned some uncomfortable things about himself compiling that list.

Though Seto would have sworn his opinion on the general mass of humanity could sink no lower, he had to admit there were new steps below ground level he hadn't even begun to imagine.  There was hate, there was cruelty, pain and loathing and humiliation to be taken and dealt, and a cold, dark part of his Kaiba aspect dispassionately understood that as well.  Seto stayed well away from the key words associated with those kinds of sites.

When Seto Kaiba set his mind on learning something, he learned with a vengeance.  And learn throughout the day he did, stopping only for lunch and an occasional trip to the bathroom.  Seto was well used to ignoring arousal and found that he could control how much his body reacted, to some extent, by how much he personalized it within his mind.  Though there were at least three distinct times where it was only the sneering corner of his mind presenting an image of how pathetic he would look jacking off in front of the computer that kept him in control.  The cause of those rushes he tucked away in his mind for later.

Finally, Seto erased as many electronic traces as he could, deleted everything and powered down the laptop.  He would have it returned tomorrow and cancel the account, the purpose was served.  The notes he would burn eventually.

It was evening and Seto was alone, with a days worth of low-level arousal and a mind full of erotic images.  He licked his lips and smiled a dark, predatory grin before heading upstairs to add thoughts of Tristan to the mix.
